AJAX (Extended Throw)

AJAX (Extended Throw)

Thermal inkjet is well suited for printing on flat surfaces where the head can be positioned close to the substrate. Non-flat surfaces, mixed substrate thicknesses, and raised edges have always presented a problem…until now. With an ink throw distance up to 0.5″, and solvent ink compatibility, the Ajax TIJ printers do what was previously achievable only with continuous inkjet (CIJ), but at a fraction of the cost, complexity, and maintenance requirements. Ajax is based on 0.5″ cartridge technology, with print widths up to 4.0″.
